ASIA WATER 2026 | Clamp-On Flow Sensor: Explore the Future of Non-Destructive Measurement with AUDIOWELL

2026-04-07 Exhibition

ASIA WATER 2026 promises to be a grand exchange for the global water treatment industry. Facing multiple challenges in Malaysia and its neighboring countries – climate-driven floods, water supply interruptions, aging infrastructure, and growing urban and industrial water demand – technology-driven resilient water services have become an industry consensus. AUDIOWELL sincerely invites water industry colleagues, system integrators, and industry experts to visit its booth for discussions and exchanges on innovative applications of Clamp-On Flow Sensors in smart water management, industrial manufacturing, fine chemicals, biopharmaceuticals, and other fields.

AUDIOWELL Clamp-On Flow Sensor

The AUDIOWELL Clamp-On Flow Sensor is a non-contact fluid flow measurement device that is clamped onto the outside of a pipe. The device uses two ultrasonic sensors to continuously transmit ultrasonic waves toward the central area of the pipe section and receive echoes reflected from the fluid, measuring the propagation time of the ultrasonic waves through the pipe section to calculate the velocity and flow rate of the liquid in the pipe.

Non-Destructive and Safe: Clamp-On Non-Contact Measurement, No Pipe Cutting Required for Installation

Compared with traditional insertion or throttling flow meters, the greatest advantage of the AUDIOWELL Clamp-On Flow Sensor is that it achieves high-precision measurement by simply clamping onto the outside of the pipe, without any need to cut the pipe or interrupt the process flow. It solves long-standing industry pain points such as medium leakage, pressure loss, and cumbersome installation. The device is installed directly on the outer wall of the pipe, and the sensors do not come into direct contact with the fluid medium, so there is no risk of leakage and no contamination of the medium inside the pipe. This feature gives it a significant application advantage in high-cleanliness fields such as biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, and semiconductor manufacturing.

Flexible Adaptability: Covers Both Rigid Metal Pipes and Flexible Plastic Tubes

The AUDIOWELL Clamp-On Flow Sensor exhibits excellent pipe material compatibility. The product can be adapted to both rigid metal pipes and flexible plastic tubes, covering the most common pipe material needs in industrial applications. For metal pipes, the device can be adapted to carbon steel, stainless steel, and various other metal pipes. For non-metal pipes, it is compatible with PVC, PPR, and other plastic pipes. During installation, users simply clamp the sensors onto the outer wall of the pipe, select an appropriate installation position, and secure them – no professional tools or complex pipe modifications are required.

For measurement on flexible plastic tubes, the AUDIOWELL Clamp-On Flow Sensor can be used in production scenarios with extremely high hygiene and cleanliness requirements, such as medical devices, biopharmaceuticals, and semiconductor equipment. The sensors can be clamped directly onto the outside of a flexible plastic tube to accurately measure the flow velocity of the liquid inside the tube, and can also detect bubbles and large solid particles in the liquid. Because the sensors do not contact the liquid inside the tube, they cause no contamination, making the device particularly suitable for liquid flow monitoring in biopharmaceutical processes.

Full Medium Compatibility: One Meter for Water, Ethanol, Chemical Solutions, and More

The AUDIOWELL Clamp-On Flow Sensor performs excellently in terms of fluid compatibility, accommodating a wide range of fluids including water, ethanol, and chemical solutions, covering applications from basic water management to fine chemical production. In municipal water services, the device can be used for noninvasive monitoring of water supply networks and leak detection, accurately locating leaks without affecting water supply, helping to save water and reduce consumption. In industrial manufacturing, the device can measure cooling water flow in watercooled equipment and provide real-time metering and monitoring of various process waters.

For measurement needs in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, the AUDIOWELL Clamp-On Flow Sensor can safely and reliably measure ethanol, acid/alkali solutions, organic solvents, and many other chemical media. The device can measure water, seawater, oils, and a variety of chemical media, while also being compatible with common pipe materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, plastic, and brass, demonstrating good field adaptability to meet measurement requirements in a wide range of industrial environments. Because the sensors do not contact the medium, the instrument is especially suitable for measuring chemically corrosive, toxic, or ultra-pure media.
